The peace of the National Park, waves splashing against the kayak, the red glow of the setting sun on the horizon, a fire crackling in the settling dark and the delicious food enjoyed in its light. They create their own unique atmosphere, which makes an ever-lasting memory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trip is also suitable for less experienced paddlers since we will paddle at a slow pace in calm waters. The kayaking trip is 10-15 km depending on the route chosen, and the duration 4 -5 h, starting at 7 pm and return being before midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location:<\/strong> Southern Konnevesi National Park, Starting and ending at the Hanhitaipale Harbor (address: Satamatie 143, 77700 Rautalampi). Distances: Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 city centre 112 km and the travelling time is 1h 30 min. Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 airport 92 km, travelling time 1h 15 min. Kuopio city centre 85 km, travelling time 1h 10 min. Kuopio airport 100 km, travelling time 1h 20 min.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements for the participants:<\/strong> The participants must be over 18 years old. Children under 18 can participate in the company of a guardian.  The minimum weight of the participants is 40 kg and maximum weight 120 kg. It is also necessary to be able to swim for at least 5 meters. The participants are required to have clothes appropriate for the weather and footwear suitable for paddling. They can also paddle barefoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is an outhouse available at the starting point in Hanhitaipale harbor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
