This tour takes place in South -Eastern part of Etel\u00e4 -Konnevesi lake in Southern Konnevesi National Park. \u00a0The area is\u00a0sheltered and labyrinth-like archipelago with the most impressive rocks and the narrowest straits of the area. There are things to see and experiences for everybody from beginners to advanced paddlers. The speciality of the area is the biggest osprey population in the Central Finland region and plenty of their huts. The tour includes a break in the Kaituri lean-to, where we have snacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trip is also suitable for less experienced paddlers since we will paddle at a slow pace in calm waters.\u00a0 The kayaking trip is 11-14 km depending on the route chosen and lasts for c. 5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location:<\/strong> Southern Konnevesi National Park, Starting and ending at the Hanhitaipale Harbor (address: Satamatie 143, 77700 Rautalampi). Distances: Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 city centre 112 km and the travelling time is 1h 30 min. Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 airport 92 km, travelling time 1h 15 min. Kuopio city centre 85 km, travelling time 1h 10 min. Kuopio airport 100 km, travelling time 1h 20 min.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements for the participants:<\/strong> The participants need to be over 18 years old. Children under 18 can participate in the company of a guardian.  The minimum weight of the participants is 40 kg and maximum weight 120 kg. It is also necessary to be able to swim for at least 5 meters. The participants are required to have clothes appropriate for the weather and footwear suitable for paddling. They can also paddle barefoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is an outhouse available at the starting point in Hanhitaipale harbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
